Project CORALINE Newsletter #2 - Brand refresh, new logo, and new art! ://: May 12th, 2024, Flora A.5/12/2024
Welcome to The Wilt! While it's not much of a massive rebrand, it was time that Project CORALINE had a bit of a facelift! We're hoping for new VBs as well, but we hope you like the new stuff! Sahimura Korarin - 2024 ArtIt was about time she had new art! The last official piece made for her was from 2021! Poor girl hasn't seen any sort of love for the past three years, and it was about time she did. Alongside this new art work, I'm hoping for a new VB to be released sometime this year! Ignatius Kadin - 2024 Art and RedesignAnd alongside Corrie's new art, Ignatius also got some new art, but in his case, he got a brand new design to boot! The previous design, while nice, felt too plain and didn't exactly fit his personality. This design was actually initially intended for a hypothetical AI design and not meant to be a full redesign, but it ended up being too good to waste, so we hope that everyone enjoys this new look for him! Additional art! Alongside the refresh and new art for the characters, there's also chibis made especially for the website, provided by Lorogy662/Lang! These look absolutely adorable, and we hope you all like them as well! End of Newsletter And that's it for now! We hope for more exciting things in the future, specifically new voicebanks for the Classics! Alongside these, There's also wallpapers and Vivaldi themes for those interested and wanting to show their support! The founder isn't the greatest artist (I will 100% admit that myself.), but we hope people enjoy these either way!
Thank you all so much for supporting Project CORALINE! We hope to see you all again soon! Welcome to The Wilt! What a time to be alive! Welcome to our newsletter, as well as our first issue of it! We will try to keep this updated for as long as possible. We thought we'd keep everyone updated regarding current happenings within Project CORALINE, and make the news easier to read in comparison to our official Twitter account. Mahalia Paz - Updates regarding their delay. Due to multiple things behind the scenes, specifically regarding their demos, Mahalia Paz, our next VB to be released under the Classic/Generation 1 voices, has been delayed. We were initially thinking of releasing them on 3/26, but due to the assets for their release not having been completed yet, we had to make the decision to delay them. We hope this delay will, at most, be until April 20th. We don't want to delay them further, as they were initially planned to be released years ago! Please forgive us if this ends up falling through once again, however. We're trying our best. Sahimura Korarin AI - Change of plansThere hasn't been any plans regarding Corrie AI's development, but it's for good reason! Even if there's been some motivation issues with recording (I'm very tired, I am SO sorry), we might have a proper collaboration go through in the future! We still want to do a crowdfund, of course, but Corrie AI will be delayed until further notice. She might not end up being for Diffsinger after all... Future plans! And with that, we have come to the end of the first edition of our newsletter! However, I think it's best if we announce what we plan to do in the future.
- New Initiative vocalists release. This does include MK.II and the yet-to-be-revealed vocalist. MK.II is actually very close to being finalized, but he's currently getting some extra stuff added specifically to his English to ensure he's as high quality as can be. We once again thank Inochi for working with us for him, and we hope everyone enjoys using him! - Updates to Ignatius Kadin and Sahimura Korarin. Despite the motivation issues, I do want to continue working on those two, and give them updated VBs at some point within the next year! Hopefully on Corrie Day (Sept. 25th). I plan on having their VBs be CVVC or CV/"Back to Basics". Of course, this does not mean the old VBs are being retired, as they'll still be supported and will get updates on occasion. We thank you all so much for supporting us! It's actually quite hard to believe that Project CORALINE turned into what it is today in all honestly! When I initially founded it, it was mainly just so I could have an organized place for my work, but I'm proud of what this has turned into now. We hope to continue this way for many years to come, and we hope you all keep supporting us! Thank you. |
